Polypropylene BCF yarn is widely used in carpet production. The chromatic aberration of filaments will lead to a large number of chromatic aberrations in the carpet and complaints from customers, so that the formation of filament chromatic aberration is the first factor affecting sales. Chromatic aberration usually means that in the same batch of polypropylene BCF yarn, the difference in color can be seen by the naked eye in the production and use, specifically the difference between the segments and the segments, the tube and the cylinder, and even the color change of the layers.
1. The quality of the masterbatch. Since the polypropylene itself cannot be dyed, the masterbatch is appropriately added in the spinning to produce an excellent yarn. However, the color difference caused by the quality of the masterbatch is not small. The masterbatch itself is not uniform, and there are knives and blocks that now cause chromatic aberration. The measure taken is to check the condition of the pelletizer frequently, and the masterbatch produced is formed into a uniform size slice.
2. Temperature. The temperature of the polypropylene filament during the spinning process is also a major cause of the chromatic aberration. Because the melting point of polypropylene itself is not high, it is necessary to ensure that the spinning temperature is higher than the melting degree of polypropylene itself by 60° in the spinning process to produce color yarn better. However, the spinning temperature is very sensitive to color. This requires Dr. Yarn's craftsman to control the spinning temperature for different colored yarns.
3. Drafting deformation. People's suspicion of "draw deformation" can lead to chromatic aberration, which is generally considered impossible. However, this is very common from customer feedback. The measures taken are to ensure oil in each position, the choice of deformer and the generation of tension, all consistency, which will effectively control the chromatic aberration.
4. The effect of stretching temperature. The drafting temperature is very important. The temperature should be controlled at a glass transition temperature of 10 to 20 degrees or more. If the temperature is too high, it will dissolve and cause the thread to break. Too low a temperature will also cause the filaments to be disappointing and the color uneven. Research certification, the stretching temperature is controlled at 130 ° is the best.
To achieve the above steps, the color difference of the polypropylene BCF yarn can be controlled to a certain standard.
