Why use carpet adhesives and liners?
Carpet liner is a kind of soft rubber product. It is laid on the underside of the carpet. It can make the carpet feel soft and comfortable after being stepped on, and it has the function of moisture-proof and breathable, and can extend the life of the carpet.
The use of carpet liners and carpet adhesives is as follows:
(1) Anti-loose coating. The anti-loose coating is a coating layer applied on the primary backing, and the purpose is to make the fabric stitches firmly adhered, the surface layer fibers are not easily peeled off, and the loop pile fiber and the loop strength of the loop are enhanced. Coating coatings are required to have good moisture resistance.
(2) Primary backing. The primary backing is an essential part of any type of carpet, which acts to secure the loop and is easy to machine. A flat woven net made of jute, also used as a primary backing with polypropylene woven or non-woven fabric, requires a certain degree of wear resistance.
(3) Secondary backing. The secondary backing is made of a water-soluble rubber such as styrene-butadiene latex and natural latex which is very strong in binding, and is used as a carpet adhesive to laminate the linen on the coated primary backing. The purpose is to enhance the wear resistance of the back of the carpet. Sexuality and dexterity.
