The filter bag sewing worker is one of the most important occupations in the bag dust filter industry, and is a labor-intensive technical key position. Its skill level directly affects the technical level of the entire industry and the quality and filtration efficiency of the filter bag. This competition is the first national level two event hosted by the China Industry Association. Environmental protection filter material is a characteristic industry of Funing County. It started in the 1980s. After more than 30 years of hard work, it has now become the country with the highest degree of agglomeration, the most complete industrial chain, the largest market share, the strongest innovation and brand creation, and technology. The environmentally friendly filter material production base with the best equipment and the best carrier platform enjoys the reputation of "Funing filter material is the best in the world". From the Funing regional event in 2019 to the industry event in 2020, it was successfully upgraded to a national level two competition for the first time this year, which witnessed the leap-forward development of the Funing filter material industry and the pattern and responsibility of the coordinated development of the filter material industry enterprises across the country.
According to the distribution of industrial clusters, the organizing committee of this competition has set up three competition areas in the country: Fushun in northern Liaoning, Funing in eastern Jiangsu and Tiantai in southeastern Zhejiang. 67 contestants from 36 companies in the competition zone entered the finals.
The preliminaries of the Eastern and Central Funing Division were held in Jiangsu Lantian Environmental Protection Group Co., Ltd. 107 contestants from 26 filter companies in Zhejiang and Nanjing completed the sewing of high temperature and normal temperature filter bags within the specified time, and finally 50 were selected by the referees Outstanding players participated in this national final.
The preliminary competition in the northern Fushun competition area received the active participation of relevant enterprises in Liaoning Province. A total of 30 first-line skilled workers from 15 companies engaged in filter bag production in the province signed up for the competition. This competition is the first time in Liaoning. The top ten contestants represented Liaoning in the national finals.
The rooftop competition area in the southeast has received strong support from Zhejiang Yanpai, Huaji, Hengze and other filter-related companies. Through strict selection, several outstanding players were selected to participate in the finals.
